A really professional performance last night to win handsomely against Bracknell & win the Berkshire Central "Blast" League (the top league & the equivalent of North Hampshire Tier 1).
The message was to to focus on our performance - bowling, fielding & batting & that is exactly what you delivered in bucket loads.
Bowling - Zac & Havish got us off to a great start - fast, accurate & top of off.....18 runs from 6 overs & Bracknell straight away under big pressure. Next up Rey & Arun maintaining the pressure & Rey in particular bowling beautifully for 3 overs/ 1 wicket/6 runs....followed by a terrific 3 over spell of fast, full & accurate bowling from Rishik blowing Bracknell away with 4 wickets (all bowled) for 5 runs whilst supported by spin from Ollie, Oscar & Joshan (great to see him back in an Eversley shirt).
Fielding - great energy, mobility & intent in the field, standout moments being a great stop & calm/accurate throw in by Rishik at extra cover for a run out, a full length diving stop to save 4 runs by Arun & some excellent work on the boundary by Zac throughout. Harry as solid as ever behind the stumps whether pace or spin giving the team & bowlers confidence.
Batting - we got off to a great & confident start which was really important, Jonah going on to retire on 30, Vihan showing great touch with 24 and some really good running between the wickets.
This means that we win the league & go through to the semi finals of the Berkshire U13 Blast Cup. To quickly explain... The "Blast" is Berkshire's top competition (like Tier 1 in Hampshire) & they have 4 leagues - West, Nort East, North West & Central (which we are in). The winners of each of these league go into semi finals (Sunday 31/8 tbc) & the winners of the semi finals play each other in the final (Sunday 7/9 tbc).

What a season for the U13s!
