On a very tricky batting pitch we chased the target of 75 with 9 wickets down & with 4 balls remaining....with our batting strength in depth right down to no. 11 seeing us home.
Terrific bowling from all 6 bowlers supported by great fielding & keeping (James - just 2 byes) & with us taking wickets on a regular basis we made Bournemouth have to work very hard for every run.
In chasing down the score we wanted to have a good starting platform which we achieved but scoring on a slow pitch with variable bounce vs strong bowling was also difficult for us & we also had to work very hard for every run. As the pressure built Rishik came in & shifted the momentum with 3 big boundaries, we then lost 4 quick wickets leaving the final pair of Zac & Havish needing 7 runs off of the last 2 overs......a four from each seeing us over the line.
So a great team effort with our strength in depth coming through to win the game.
