Welcome to Eversley Cricket Club

Kevin Manning10 Mar - 19:57

Cricket has been played at our Cross Green ground since 1787 and is one of the oldest grounds in the South of England.

We are a vibrant & inclusive club offering cricket across Juniors, Women's and Men's sections. With a rich history (cricket has been played at our ground since 1787) a beautiful location and great facilities Eversley is a great place to play cricket.
We have 180+ Juniors from U7 to U15 Boys & Girls with 14 teams competing in the Hampshire Leagues and also with teams in Berkshire & Surrey competitions. We welcome anyone who wants to learn, develop & play the great game of cricket from whatever background and current level of experience. We have 15 ECB qualified volunteer coaches. We have won the Hampshire coaching club of the year award. Typically we have 40-50 Juniors within the County (Hampshire & Berkshire) pathway programmes. In 2024 our U11s won the Hampshire Cup, in 2025 our U13s won the Hampshire Cup & progressed to the last 8 of the national ECB U13 Cup.
We run five adult Men's sides on a Saturday competing in the Thames Valley League, with our First X1 playing in Division 1, a Sunday friendly side and a mid week T20 side.
We have been playing Ladies cricket at Eversley for 14 years and we now have two ladies team playing in the Hampshire Cricket League and one soft ball team mainly laying in festivals.
With a complete pathway from Junior to Adult cricket many of our Juniors progress into & through our Men's & Ladies teams.
We have exceptional facilities - two cricket pitches (also one for our U9s), a state of the art Indoor Cricket Centre & we have recently invested in a new state of the art 3 lane outdoor net system.
We have a lively social events programme centred around our Club house & Bar with food on offer every Friday evening (Junior training night), every Saturday evening and other occasions.
We train at our Indoor Cricket Centre Jan-April before moving outside training weekly from mid April to beginning of September. Men's training is on a Wednesday evening (1s/2s) & a Thursday (3s/4s/5s). Ladies training is on a Tuesday evening and Juniors train on a Friday evening.
The Club is always looking for new players across all sections and at all levels - please just contact us.
